1996 Volkswagen Corrado VR6
A truly outstanding example of Volkswagen’s legendary Corrado VR6, finished in Moonlight Blue with full black leather interior. First registered in 1996, this is one of the very last Corrados to reach the UK, showing just under 107,000 miles and only four previous owners from new.
This car remains remarkably true to its original specification, with no modifications beyond a subtle and period-appropriate retro-style Blaupunkt DAB+ Bluetooth CD stereo and new DAB bee-sting aerial, complemented by six upgraded Alpine speakers. All key electrical features operate as they should, including the rear spoiler and sunroof.
Over the past few years, the car has undergone an extensive programme of maintenance and preventative refurbishment, carried out almost exclusively by Stealth Racing — one of the UK’s most respected Corrado specialists. Every known Corrado weak point has been addressed, including a new timing chain, clutch, heater matrix, and ABS pump refurbishment, ensuring this example drives and presents at a near-concours level. The underside has also been treated with two coats of Lanoguard for long-term protection.
